Clinical Research Studies

Participation in clinical research is a way for Gastroenterology Group of Rochester to be on the cutting edge of new and better testing and treatments for our patients.  Your participation is in partnership with your physician and the GGR team and is completely voluntary.  Additionally, compensation for time and travel may be available to those who qualify!

You do not need to be an established patient of GGR to participate in research.

Erosive Esophagitis

Purpose: Test efficacy and safety of Tegoprazan in the treatment of erosive esophagitis.  There is a 0% chance of placebo in this study.

Purpose: Test different dose levels of a treatment to individuals with Celiac and are attempting a gluten-free diet but still experiencing symptoms.

Colorectal Cancer Screening

Purpose: Collect blood samples and medical information from participants to help develop a single blood test that can screen for many different cancers in one.

Effectiveness of Virtual Colonoscopy

Purpose: Test how well a new capsule equipped with a camera can detect polyps in the colon without a need for a colonoscopy

Drug and Syringe

C-Diff Treatment Study

Purpose: Better understand how well the medication REBYOTA is working to prevent recurrence of Clostridioides Difficile Infection (CDI) among adults following antibiotic treatment.

Purpose: Collect information about patients with IBD to study real world effectiveness and safety of medications used by physicians to treat IBD.
